Quick rules for Halloween:
1. Don't eat your candy too fast; savor the flavor.
2. Brush your teeth often while you are eating your candy; it will save the pain of cavities.
3. Share with your siblings and friends. You can often trade for what you like.
4. Don't hide your stash and then forget about it.Old dry candy is awful.
5. Don't throw the wrappers on the ground put it in the garbage.
6. Wear reflectors on your costumes so that you can be seen in the dark.
7. Always go in a group.
8. Be Safe
9. Save all of your Mounds, Three Musketeers and Dove Dark Chocolate Bites - Send them to Grandma.
10. Immediately have your Mom's post pictures of you in your Halloween Costumes.

What did Grandpa and Grandma do for Halloween?
The traditions are the same. We went trick or treating. When we were older there were Halloween parties.
Grandma's parents had a Black and Orange Packer car and I was offered money if I loaned it out on Halloween. No way, I used it on Halloween.
Ask your parents what they did for Halloween; that should be fun!
Here's a special Halloween story from a dear friend of mine!
A Halloween Tale of Terror~
©2012 Susan Noyes Anderson

One All Hallow's Eve, 'neath the silvery moon

on a night meant for witches in flight,

two children went looking for treats at the door

of a house that just didn't look right.

Their knees started shaking because they both knew

jack o' lanterns don't light on their own,

but these jacks were burning

right there in the yard...

the GRAVE yard––where

ghosts moan and groan.

The kids dropped their candy

and ran for the street,

but the bats didn't want them to go.

Swarms swooped from the sky

with a trio of ghosts

and a witch, flying in the moon's glow.

Those kids ran as fast and as far as they could

from that frightful old house on their street.
But they never were heard from again...No, not once.

Are you ready to go trick-or-treat?
